1 - 18 years and older, for more experienced players
2 - 18 years and older, all skill levels welcome

SBWSO Organization
SBWSO is based in Santa Barbara/Goleta area and is run by volunteers, including team managers and players. SBWSO's membership has grown to over 300 women with approximately 14 active teams. Two major divisions exist within the league, providing opportunities for players of all abilities to play soccer.  

League Play
Scheduled games are played mainly on Saturdays at assigned field locations within the Santa Barbara/Goleta area. SBWSO offers two alternating seasons throughout the year: Fall and Spring.

Joining The League
SBWSO welcomes all players, coaches or teams who would like to join the league. New players can independently join a currently registered team, or may contact the league at sbwso@yahoo.com to find a team to play with. New teams may register at the beginning of each season with a minimum roster of 11 players. To register, a new player must pay a fee, sign a waiver and submit a photocopy of a drivers license. To register a new team, a roster must be submitted, along with the season's fees.  Players may continue to join existing teams until the play-offs at the end of the season.  No roster changes are allowed for the play-offs.
