Kristiansen Klassic Soccer Tournament

Greetings Kristiansen Klassic Enthusiasts!

Another year, same cause, same great times! Over the years we have raised tens of thousands of dollars for the Ina Kristiansen Memorial Fund. and the addition of over 500 potential donors to the National Marrow Donor Program. We couldn't have done it without our many faithful supporters like you and hope we can produce the best tournament yet this October 4th and 5th on the beachside UC Santa Barbara Campus. On Saturday and Sunday, the tournament will host a registry drive for the NMDP- in hopes of providing people like Ina (in the late stages of leukemia and other blood diseases) with a real hope for survival. We hope you will join us in our efforts to use soccer as a way to fight leukemia.

Games:
3 games minimum (25 min. halves) on Saturday, 2 games Sunday.

Divisions*:
Open Competitive (A): 18 years and up, Division 1, A, or B teams
Open Recreational (B):18 and up, (max 5 players under 25), Div 2 or C recreational teams
Over 30:30 and up, (max 2 players 25-30)
Over 40: 40 and up, (max 2 players 35-40)
Over 50: 50 and up, (max 3 players 45-50)
{*Please be sure to place your team in best-matched division for fairest competition!}
If the division you enter is full at the time your registration is received, you will be contacted regarding available spots in other divisions. Your team must meet the age requirements for the division in which it participates.

Fees:
$400.00 by August 23rd, $450.00 by September 15th. Registration closes upon first 8 teams per division entered or on September 17th, 2008. Checks should be payable to Kristiansen Klassic. Do not send cash. Do not send individual checks from each player.

Roster:
Teams can have a MAXIMUM of 18 players at the tournament. Ages will be considered as of October 1st, 2008. All players must show picture ID at check-in! Players may only register with ONE team at the Kristiansen Klassic!

Hotel: The Santa Barbara Ramadawill be our host hotel. Please be sure to book early as there are several events in town that same weekend! Phone number 805-964-3511 and tell them you are under Kristiansen Klassic. Rooms not reserved by September 5th will be released to inventory.
